Human and Microbial Genomics: DNA Arrays applied to Human Pathogens and Diseases
This nine day residential course on: "DNA arrays applied to human pathogens and diseases" is designed to enable participants to become familiar with new technologies and their applications on microbial and their host genomics, to interpret genomic and transcriptome data. The central theme will be the exploration of various methods available for high throughput analysis of DNA and differential gene transcription in human pathologies.
The course is addressed to biologists with strong interest in exploiting new technologies conferring high through put information in specific experimental questions. It will also be valuable for statisticians, computer scientists and others who seek a strong fundamental understanding for biological methods implying the use of transcriptome analysis. The applications to diagnostics will also be discussed.
